Tournerbury Woods Estate is one of the most distinctive wedding settings on Hayling Island, with woodland, open spaces and the coastal landscape creating a huge amount of variety throughout a wedding day.
I have photographed weddings at Tournerbury Woods Estate and already know how useful the different areas of the venue can be for natural photographs, portraits and quieter moments away from the main celebrations.
My approach is relaxed and documentary-led. I want couples to enjoy their wedding rather than spend large parts of it being directed for photographs.
Hayley and Phil's wedding is a genuine example of my Tournerbury Woods wedding photography, with images from across the woodland setting and the different parts of their day.
A venue like Tournerbury works particularly well for couples who want photographs that feel natural and connected to the location. The woodland paths give a completely different look to the open areas, while the setting around Hayling Island gives the day a distinctive coastal character.
I normally work quickly with couples during portraits, using the venue itself rather than forcing a long list of staged poses. That means we can make use of different locations without taking you away from your guests for too long.
Hayling Island is firmly within my normal working area. I am based nearby in Portsmouth and photograph and film weddings across the island and surrounding Hampshire coastline.
I have photographed and filmed weddings across Hayling Island and the surrounding Hampshire coastline, so I am familiar with the different types of light, landscape and weather that come with coastal wedding venues.

Where conditions allow, aerial photography or video can add another perspective to a wedding at a venue with the space and landscape of Tournerbury Woods.
Drone use is always subject to weather, airspace restrictions, venue permission, safety considerations and conditions on the wedding day, so aerial coverage cannot be guaranteed.
